Anybody have a problem matching a fmf silencer to a lrd pipe?

I have an FMF Turbine Core 2 on my LRD adjustable. The top mount is real close but the bottom mount is about an 1 1/2" away if I remember right. I just don't use that one.

I bought this piece only because harescrambles this year are making spark arrestors mandatory. I had a fatboy 2 on that aligned perfect. This FmF thing is junk. Oh and its heavy. I think Im going to put the Fatboy back on and buy a clamp on spark arrestor.

Im thinking if the holes are that far off it has to be the Pipe. Its probably jiged up to a fmf pipe.

I didn't realize there was mounting hardware for the lower mount......I wonder if I could get mine to bolt up now? I just saw the gap and assumed it was way off, I'll have to look into it some more.

As for your problem, that's fubar. First thing I'd try though is taking your pipe apart where it adjusts, maybe you can pivot it one way or another to get the silencer to line up better. I had to make a custom length bracket for the middle of the pipe so my silencer would line up a little easier, I think I had to make it a little longer.

Only when I don't do a good job siliconing it.
