View Full Version : quick, which shock covers?

i like the look of my stock clean white shocks but i wann keep em just that, clean and white, so im getting shock covers tomorrow but first, which other model could i order them for (to simplify the ordering process) i tried my brothers covers for his r and the kfx springs seem a little to fat for them so which others may work?

not to worry....i rolled the dice and ordered some for the yfz and took my chances' ill have the courtesy to post my progress with them when they come in.

its an actual can that I cut and placed over the rezi.

That quad is bad***. I just wish they had a kit for the white and black one that would match up really nice too.

I used clear silicone (used it like glue) to hold it on. Zip ties where there just to keep it in place untill the silicon cured
I used the middle of the can where the logo is

nice 450 topdollr, okay i got them today and got the fronts on but havent had the time to mess with the back one (home repair), id also like to add ive seen many different materials used for shock covers (the thin stuff on shockwears, the quad mag canvas ones, custom leather ones i had once) but ive never seen the spandex like stuff on the dirtskins but i like it, the thick feel of em makes me think their gonna take a beating and last a long time.
update, i cant get the rear one on at all its simply too small in legnth (what little i can reach anyway) so i may have to order a bigger one but which? im thinkin like a raptor 700 or predator or ds650, their probably huge but its better than not big enough i guess.

they are Shockwares made for the kfx400, yfz450
got them from magicracing.com
