So if I pick up a new 08 DRR in 50cc this year and next year we want to run in the 70 class, other than bigger cylinder and piston what does the 08 DRR 70cc have that the 50 doesn't.
The reason behind this is we currently have another brand 50 and if the first few races of our series we struggle to keep up with all the DRR's in our class then rather then put more money into our 50 I am thinking of just getting an 08 DRR 50. Or we will just wait till next year when my son is ready to move up till the 70's and pick up a new DRR 70 then.

08 will not be out for a while but to answer your question the 70 is 44 inch wide .vers 50 41 inches we started with the 50 then when my son was ready we put 0n a 70 top end thats the only difference.

There will be no major changes from the 07 to the 08...DRR has made is clear that it will not do the same thing it did in 2007

I have (1) 2007 44" wide DRX50 left.....Now this would be the perfect set up if you were wanting to upgrade to the 70cc at some point.

I think I ordered 10 like that from the factory and 9 of them have sold and been upgraded to a 70cc so far...

Nichols is right....Easy engine upgrade, but you would be shorter in the a-arm and swingarm if you take a std DRX50.

The 50 U have is 44" or 41"? Is it stock or set up for racing? IE Holeshot fronts, snow hog rears, kill switch, nerfs etc..

The 50 would be 44" wide with the +2" swingarm...Tethered Kill Switch..Maxxis Razrs on the front....All stock in the crate.

I have to check to see if I still have it, but this set up would really be the only way to upgrade to the 70cc class w/o giving up anything.
