I Couldn't Believe It!

Ok, I had plans to go to Silver Lake for a while! I left Saturday Morning at about 1:30am, and arrived at the dunes at about 6:45, went to get my voucher immediately, I got there, pulled up to station, knowing I had an AWESOME day ahead of me, only to be shot down when the Lady in the booth said that all the vouchers had already been sold, "Sorry, Have a good day. :eek2: I couldn't believe it. I just drove 5 hours for NOTHING! I felt so lost, I pulled into the mini golf courses' parking lot and slept for about an hour and headed home, which too SIX HOURS!! I just went home and slept the rest of the day away :(

dang...that sucks...i would have thanked her for the nice 5 hour drive. you know had that smart arse attitude

One time we drove 5 hours to Rausch Creek only to find it was closed for a holiday. It sucks man, definatley one of the worst feelings.

you go back to rausch creek anytime after??? I used to go there all the time, last year and the beginning of this year. You know the memeberships are gone and it costs $65/day to ride there. You will know me if you seen me, Probably the ony one who rode a trike and actually did pretty good, too. I had all but 2 jumps(both were doubles) cleared the last time I went there. I liked how the old track was alot better than after they re-designed it.
