CR type kill switch/trx250r

Need to install a kill switch. I don't race, just need a simple kill switch. Question is whether or not a Moose/Tusk CR style kill switch will work with factory plug ins on the 250R? Thanks for any input

I bought the moose one a little while ago and the black end just plugs into the key switch end and it works fine.

I don't know if it'll work so easy on an 86 because it didn't have a key but 87-89 will be fine - no hacking or splicing.

you can also put both sides on the wires that go to the coil. I have the cr kill and tether on my 200x done this way. Make sure the ground stays with the ground, unless the bike won't start and you will get hit big time.
