Help!

I was taking the 8mm bolts out of my valvle cover today to get it ready for a 416 and 2 bolts broke inside the valve cover atthe end of the threads. hat should i do? Im sending my head to marcums for a lil port and polish and 3 anlgle valve job, should i have hm drill and re-tap or u think its something i can do?

have you ever used an easy-out set? if not they are a little tricky. a local machine shop can usually do it.

a shop could do it real easy and it shouldnt cost much more that $1.00 or $2.00 a bolt

I had the same thing happen to mine. Gota be carefull for them 2 bolts over the header pipe... they are really fragile because of the heat exposer (SP). Also when you do take them out without breaking them.. put them aside from the rest of the bolts.

I was able to get mine out with a vice grip, fortunaly it was still sticking out about 1/8 "
