'99 ex - current ex information?

were there any major changes to the ex between '99 and '07? other than the body and the added reverse gear? (i think it was in 2005 when they added this, correct me if i'm wrong)

the only changes that i know of where in 2005, when they changed the 400ex front sprocket to a 14t instead of the previous 15t, plus they added reverse and the 450r plastcs..

one more thing is from the 05's and newer they put a non adjustable metering needle in the carb and also a D shaped head on the fuel screw to discourage people from tuning it. more less making it more tree hugger friendly. but there are ways around it.
