Is there anyway to bypass the key switch?? i went riding today and somehow on the way there i lost the key.. it would b helpful if some1 would help me out and tell me how to do it... thanks in advance

hot wire it. we did that to my bike my first mx race. i lost it on the way there and the track was 4 hours away.

cut the 2 igniton wires and leave them disconnected and try to start it, if it dont work then connect them and try it

If you do it wrong, it blows the fuse.

You could get a new ignition and a brand new key from OEM or Ebay would be cheaper.;)

If you cut the solid red and the solid black wires on the ignition switch harness and twist them together this will turn the power on - basically the same as turning the ignition to the "on" position. the other two wires are just to ground the cdi when the key is turned to the off position.

same thing happened to me with my key, so i just installed a toggle switch.:D

you dont have to hot wire iit ... you can just take the key out when u go some where ... put it in ur pocket or something

you can alway hook the wires up to a toggle switch and its a lot cheaper then getting a new key or anything my friend did it to his blaster when he lost his keys it worked great
