cdi could be all my troubkes?

before i ask, i wana say sorry for asking so much and you guys have helped me a ton

i put a new plug into my 400ex (biggest PITA ever) and it fired right up, after cleaning the carb/new plug when i chop the throttle it dies.. when i hold it the limiter is like 1/2

edit: now i can get it to rev more, but its still somthing wrong, i can hold it and dump the clutch and the tires dont even pick up it just like dies.. has nooo powerr at all

stump... make sure u clean ur carb/filter good... cuz when mine did the sam thing there was dirt in my carb and my filter wasnt lookin to good

it dont run without a filther either, dont worry guys, i only tryed it for a second.... and iv partially cleaned the carb once already

yep i had the same problems. those to screw that holds the slide came off.
