View Full Version : Look Like Poison Ivy ?

Well, i was just moving a pile of bush trimming to burn, its the old pine bushes that torched by accident in front of my house.Now i have moved the pile before, the pile had the real prickery pine needles.

They usually make your arm itch from them scratching on them, but i was moving the pile and my arm itched so i thought probably nothing.Well, i look and see a rash....I am like CHIT not to mention school starts on Wed. so I can't have poison ivy right now.


So my question is does this look like poison ivy or just a reaction to the pine needles? Also, the rash formed in like 20 minutes or less, i didn't think poison ivy would make a rash that fast.

So i came inside and took a shower with technu wash and used some prescription steroid creme from the doc thats for this type of stuff.

poison ivy does not form in 20 minutes ... its gotta be a rash or poison ivy from the previous day etc

Well, i was at a police training thing all day yesterday so it can't be from previous day, I am hoping its just a skin irritation.

Looks like Poison Oak or just a rash. Not Ivy JMO :ermm:

Probably just an allergic reaction, wouldn't worry about it.

Yea, the redness is gone and the rash seems to be fading, I will probably just go have a fire at my friends.

Poison Ivy takes days at times to show, so that rules that one out. Maybe something like nettles? The are pretty instantanious and itch like crazy pretty quick ....

Naw it doesn't look like poison ivy for sure.

I got poison ivy residue INSIDE my riding boots once.. and couldn't figure out why I kept getting it on my legs even when I rode with my boots :(

When I mow my lawn I brush up against pine trees and I get this rash for a day or so. Just don't stratch it.

i have had my skin look like that but it was a heat rash. theres a kinds of stuff out that would do that.
