no i didnt get the message. i think its 300ex,400ex front or something along those lines

after looking at microfishe...im thinking 85atc 250r and the caliper will work on the 85 350x but not the bracket. 86 is different on both.

looks like a atc 350x front brake caliper.

85 atc250r caliper, it works on a 86 atc250r too. It is close to fitting on a 85/86 atc350x also.

after viewing a diagram id say yeah a 85'250r or 350x.

in the 2nd pic near the bottom bolt hole i see HA_.....i cant make out the 3rd letter or number but it should be a number.

HA5 is 350x and i think HA2 is 250r

it is indeed ha2...so its a 1985 atc250r front caliper! THANKS GUYS.......YOU ROCK !!!!!!!!!:D

Deathman is pretty good with these kinds of questions. If he says it's so, I'm inclined to just take his word for it.;)

Its not an 85 unless its been painted. 85 calipers were black, 86 were grey.

your right, 85 and 86 basically were the same, the color was different. 85 calipers had a rubber plug for the brake pad slider pins(very bad idea), 86 had a metal cap, I think there was something else about the cooling fins too. I have to check my stock of calipers to see.
