push starting the 250 sucks. im thinking the wiring harness is fried but thats an 80 dollar fix and i dont want to replace it if its not the problem. when the quad is off even with the ignition turned on it wont do anything at all. no lights or anything. of course once its running everything works and the starter still clicks if i hit the button so im sure/glad that its not the starter. and im positive my battery is fine. any input appreciated.

Yes you can, I've done it before.

I'd bet on the battery. make sure your terminals are clean.

check the battery by touching the spark plug wile hitting the starter. If you get zapped you know it works. Just kidding about that but my friend did that after a rebuild because the engine just woundnt turn over

1-i know the battery is good and all my connections are good so i just dont know. im really betting on the wiring harness.
2-the 250 push starts easy if u have a hill you need to put it in third get it going and shift it into neutral or it wont start but doing it on flat ground is a ***** and its completely impossible alone.
3-its for sale
