Ok I want to do a little modding to my 08'. Heres what I am looking at hrc kit vs. Rossier exhaust and a stage 2 hot cam. I want the most bang for my buck as far as power money is not a problem here but I only want to focus on these 2 mods for right now. So what set up should I go with. I am looking to gain some mid to top end and maybe get a better throttle response. If I go with the rossier and HC2 I will get an HRC air box lid and put in a uni filter. If I get the HRC I will still add a uni filter.

Also what comes with the 08 hrc kits? I also want to have a louder exhaust but Im not sure if it will happen with the newer kits I dont think they have the exhaust tip to use without the baffle do they? If not I will just remove it and use the tip I have now. Any opinions?

2008 450rs dont have a HRC kit yet.cause in 08 they changed something in the engine i cant remeber. but im getting that from honda so IDK

They dont? I found one on the net the other day for one. Must be they were advertising an 07 for an 08. So now my question is will a stage 2 hot cam for an 07 work in mine?

I have seen the kits for 08 for sale, not sure if they are diff from the 06/07 (hrc runs without air box lid)

if thats where your going to stop with the perfomance mods
I say hrc kit (around 200 bucks cheaper)

if you go with rossier/hc2 you will need to do some jetting and prob. need to get the hrc needle also, and cut the green wire.


if price isnt an issue I would go with hrc/rossier
