ok i got a 2007 400ex with a hmf slip on and cover on.Just picked up a 2004 adjustable jet needle. What clip position should i put it at? And im putting a stage 1 hot cam in tomm. Will i need to adjust jetting again with that?

3rd slot is stock. 4th slot down might be what I would advise. Any airflow/intake mods?

Air flow is all stock with cover on.

Try the forth slot down first. If mid-throttle reacts poorly, than move it back to the 3rd slot.

Intake .13mm
Exhaust .15mm

Set when cold.

k found my feeler gauges and its n metrics to but closest size i found are .127mm and .152mm. Will that be close enough or does it have to be exact?

That's close enough. It would be next to impossible to discern a couple thousandths of a mm anyway during a typical valve adjust.

BTW, in inches it's .005" and .006".

They will probably be 'close enough' if you are able to compensate for the slight difference. Can you double up some smaller ones to get exact?
