Just curious what style of exhausts are an easy or direct bolt on to a crf hybrid with a aftermarket frame. I currently have a tc setup fabbed up with a homemade bracket but i wondered how close a 450r style canister is. Just something i was wondering for when my tc falls apart..

You can get a hold of Thunder alley. He will make you a custom head pipe for 100$, Not sain it will be a perfect fit without the bike infront of him but he said he can get them close. THats whos doin the head pipe for my YZ400 Hybrid.

Depends on what frame you are talking about, they are all a little different and therein lies the problem. On a PRP frame for instance, it's very close to a Lonestar CRF frame, so exhausts made for the Lonestar's normally come very close to working just fine. You cannot use a TRX exhaust system on the PRP frames without bending the pipe a little to get it around the frame rail.

A YFZ450 slip-on seems to be the closest and snakes through the frame the best. It will still need a little mod though.

Thunder alley does good work. Im very happy with them. He did my pipe on my 500 conversion. And will be buying a pipe from him for my TRX450.
