I want to buy new handlebars for a z400 but keeping the 7/8" width...what bend would equal stock? and i've seen that a lot of people are going with the cr high bend...what would that be like on the stock mounting clamps?

I can't answer which bend will be like a stock Z400's but I do know that a CR Hi bend on your stock clamps will be much lower, wider, and more straight than stock. It is a low handlebar bend.

You could still use it, but to get back to stock height you would need a +1 or +2 steering stem to go with it.
