Question

Hey i have a 03 300ex and i have a head bolt that is stripped. i was wondering if you have to drill it out first then tap it and if it will hurt anything. thanks

i would use a helicoil instead, but tapping will also work. I have tapped mayn bolts in and to me, i feel safer with those bolts than with ones that i didnt tapped. Just make sure that you drill and tap it straight.

is it possible that oil can leak out of the stripped bolt??

depends what bolt it is. Just drill upside down....lol.

I know its one of the head bolts, bot im not sure if its the stud bolt.
