Has any one put a grab bar on there 400 instead of buying a NEW sub frame? If so post some pics and let me know how?

www.prm-atv.com sell grabars that go on to the stock subframe. u have to do some cutting tho. they also sell the mounting hardware for these.

here is mine. Not a good pic of it but, if you really want a pic i could take one for you. its a PRM grab bar.

I"m not sure if this is what ur lookin for, but at a drag strip near me there was a wheelie contest, and a guy on a 400ex entered. He didnt want to get his normal grab bar scratched on the asphalt, so he used too U bolts, and a very hard type of plastic, almost like what Maier skids r made of, but thicker. He tipped it back on the bar and just grinded down the strip for about an eigth of a mile, and there was only a few minor scratches on the platic. I think its an awesome set up, if u dont want to buy a new sub-frame, u can try to make ur stock bar look and last as long as ya can! just my thoughts, lata

Heres mine, its an 86 250R grab bar, I just welded some brackets on and it works great.
