I've heard to steer away from it for R's, I have heard of guys running it in their 4-strokes in the past. But once again I'd probly steer clear of it.

Do a search in your area for anyone who sells oils in bulk. There is a fuel/oil company in my area that sells Turbo Blue (115 oct) at the pump. It ends up being about 105-110 motor octane. Slightly leaded. Burns pretty well. I run that in my 265 PV

I have been running it in my r for 3 years and no problems.I run it in my yz250 and my old kx250 for the last 5 years.no problems at all.

i've been running it for 7 years now... have buddies that have been running it for years before that...

higher octane, doesnt break down and go bad fast like pump gas does...

no cons...

Sorry to halfway change the topic, but is there a peak limit of compression on R's where i would need to use something higher octane than AvGas ... I've always used it on my R with 190psi ... and right now i'm putting a race dome 310pv on it and was just curious... cause i dont have any idea what my new compression will be... hopefully a little over 200psi... (sorry,, just one of my thoughts that roll through my head)

I believe my compression is about 210 psi,no probs.
