Need Help w/ carb needle adustment..

Ok, im jetting my quad. I got the jet and pilot thing down, thats easy stuff. I have a DMC Alien system, and they recomend:
150 main
42 pilot
4th notch down
My question, how do you adjust the needle.
I have a 2005, and i heard they dont have notches on the needle to adjust a clip. How the hell am i supposed to adjust it??

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

You are, in fact, correct about the 05' and Newer needles being non adjustable. You have a few options. 1) Order a 2004 adjustable needle for around $30.00. 2) Put a small washer or two under the clip to shim it up. 3) DynoJet kits come with a Adjustable needle and assorted jets. With option 3, ensure you use a DynoJet adapter and main jet with the needle.

Number one is the option that I went with.

I wasted time and money on a Dynojet Kit. I eventually did the same, and went back to stock keihin jets and purchased a 2004 adjustable needle.
