Let me start by saying that I'm all about harescrambling and cross-country. Well, we haven't had any rain in like two months. The woods is not where I want to be right now, I hate dust. But, my best friend decided we needed to race at our local Supercross this weekend. We ran open beginner quad. Lots of sandbaggers in that class. He got 1st in the heat, and I got second. He got second in the main and I got third. It was fun. Coming out of the gate is a little different than dead engine starts. Enjoyed it.

was it hard? I like the gncc type riding and thats the kind of riding i do but i like jumps and fast turns too. Is doing SX hard? I'm just afraid of casing a landing

it was definately different. Fast turns are fun, and i do like to jump. I cased one pretty bad. Now I have a broken bolt in each peg. It's a blast though.

I see you have 450r shocks on the front, what did you do with the rear?

stock. You saw in another thread that I'm about to send it off to GT thunder when I get a little spare ca$h.

you think its worth it? I know how amazing even a cheap aftermarket feels and its about 100times better than stock. I can imagine the stock revalve resprung can do that but idk put it to the test

I have a friend who owns a 400ex and he had the 450R shocks and his stock 400ex rear shock done by GT THUNDER.

HE LOVES THE REBUILD,, Huge Huge difference
