450r Temp LIght Keeps comming on???

I have an 04 405r and the temp light keeps comming on but the bike isnt overheating. I replaced the sensor and it stoped for awile but then it started doing it again. If if was overheating wouldnt it be blowing steam or fluid out the overflow tube? its not! The fan is running also. Im thinking maybe there is a short in a wire that maybe is tripping or ruining the sensor. It comes on then goes off,comes on then goes off. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

are you jetted correctly?

also, is it just coming on, kicking the fan on and then turning off? If so. That is normal.

check the connections at the sensor and at the light switch. make sure its not grounding out or otherwise...

Have you checked your coolant system at all recently? Is there still coolant in there? How about oil? Whats your jetting at and for what mods...

It probably is just getting hot.
