250x piston

Hey guys I need a 2mm over piston for my 250x. I cant find a piston in that size that is not a high compression piston. I dont want to use race gas in this bike. Does anyone know where I can get a 2 mm over regular compression piston? Will a 300ex piston work? Thanks.

Yes a 300ex piston will work.The piston will have lower compression in the 250x motor.I use 93 octane pump in my 250x with the 12 to 1 wiseco and i dont need race fuel.

So your running a 250x piston at 12:1 and you can use 93 octane pump? Since I have to go 2mm over the 12:1 is all I can find.

I just did the same thing on my 250x it need the .50 size piston and they discontuined it from factoy. went with the weisco 12: and run 93 octane gas. runs great.

I also run 93 with a wiseco 12:1, so far so good.

Same here. I run a .020 over 12:1 Wiseco. She's otherwise stock and runnin' great on 93oct!
