Dt400 motor enough for a 300ex?

I have a dt400 motor i'm planning on rebuilding 80. over bore, ect. Do you guys think it will be alot faster then the 300ex motor? Don't want to go through all the hassle if its not worth it. Thanks!

Yes.Even a dt400 which was in a mild state of tune stock will have considerably more power than a 300ex.They have gobs of torque for a 2 stroke.sell me that motor if you dont use it.;)

I have one in my yamaha blaster it not as fast as my 300ex
but they are a good motor dt has 21 hp
