Where do you tie a nornally open kill switch in, on a 2006 TRX90? The one we are using is a rubber plunger style and cost my son a win this weekend by popping off. I used a normally closed switch and tied it in where his key switch was because it was quick and easy but I have a new Pro-Design open switch that I bought some time back and I hate to see it go to waste. I just need to know where in the electrical system to tie one lead to. Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!

i put a pro armor switch in last week. one wire went to a ground screw the other went on the coil wire going to the engine. there is only two wires. i think it was the green one. look further down the posts and you will see a post titled tether kill switch. it was a pain cause i didnt feel comfortable soldering but it worked. i keep waiting for it to die from coming loose especailly after jumping but it hasnt happened yet. i also put tape on it.

Will a kill switch/ tether cord from a bigger bike work or is there a special wiring harness needed?

to my knowledge all tether kill switch's work the same. one wire to a ground the other to the positive wire on the coil. you hook the cord to youre wrist or to youre chest protector and when you fall off the cord pulls out and the atv is killed. most places wont let you race unless you have one. i paid about $25.00 from Rocky Mountain atv for mine. proarmor.

Gary, absolutely. i didn't know you had these accessories too. Raul only told me about the bikes. He works on Saturday, and I on Sunday. This week though. Ever sell the KTM?
