Got my EHS lid and the new K&N filter that uses the stock mount. It is a much better deal for $50 through Rocky Mountain @ $50 instead of the Pro design for a minimum of $150!! The filter fits tight and seems like it will perform well!

WHAT KIND OF JET CHANGE DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE?

I HAVE THE STOCK FILTER AND LID WITH A 168. IS THE 172 ENOUGH WITH THAT SETUP? WHEN I JUST REMOVE LID I GET A HUGE BOG AT FULL THROTTLE UNTIL FILTER GETS DIRTY.

LT250_JOE, I am not positive on what setup I will need just yet. I was running with no lid, JD Jet kit, 168 main, red needle on 5th clip, and large O-ring. That worked great with no lid and the stock filter, maybe just slightly rich at 900ft elevation. I will need to grab a new plug and and see how it looks when I get a chance to goout and run the thing. That will be tomorrow at the earliest. It had no starting issues or idling issues though when I changed to this setup.

Ha ha, I hear ya. I opted for the No Payment for a year plan knowing that when my first payment comes due, I will more than likely have most of it payed off with my tax return! It sure is nice to have the wife back in school, it makes for good tax write-offs!

Yeah, I was a little surprised that they were $20 less than K&N's site! I do not mind the $50 for a filter but the $150 for the Pro Design setup was too much to stomach! Yeah, the aluminum looks cool but it's function stops there, not worth the $100 difference! Hell, I got my lid and filter for that much!
