im pretty sure my front shocks are blown, but im just checking with the rest of you.

When i push down on the front end it squeaks, and i practically bottom out on the tiniest little jumps, a few weeks ago i did a very big nose dive, almost went over the handle bars but somehow managed to hold on. After that my shocks just havent been the same.

If they are infact blown what are the most effective but less expensive front shocks?

Well if your Shocks are Blown when you push down on your front end it should sprign back up really fast.

Works are the least Expensive shocks out there. But you could always get some Stock 400 Shocks and run those. They help out ona 300Ex.

well i've blown my rebuilt rear shock twice so far and when it blows it leaks oil all over and is really bouncy and bottems out real easy. I guess you could take it to the dealer and have them see if there is any nitrogen in them?

btw I got a new elka rear shock:D

Stock Front Bumper for a 250/300
Pair of stock rear rims, no dents, good shape
Pair of Rear Grooved turf Tamers on 8 inch ITP Aluminum rims.

stock shocks on my 400 were $160 a piece and i got a set of works triple rate no rezzys for $350. i dont know on 300's but thats the info i got

Do 400 stock shocks offer better travel than stock 300 shocks? Are they better?

yes they offer alot more travel its just that you have to relocate the top shock mount.
