Liquid cooled, DOHC, Completely newly designed plastic. The plastic is the same concept as the Kfx450. Its going to be a mean GNCC machine.

Honda does have some new stuff coming out. But they're being pretty tight lipped about it. A couple of weeks ago I was riding my quad and pulled into FarWest ATV rental in Coos Bay Oregon. (They're friends of mine). They told me the guy at the koisk was a location scout for Honda and wanted to look around at commercial filming locations. They asked me to show him around. Sure enough, we scooted around the dunes and he took more pictures than a bait store has bugs. When we returned he got on his phone and said, "I want the film crew here in 2 days."

2 days later I was at work .. so I didn't get to see what they brought out. But my buddies at FarWest got to see the filming rigs (which were primo dune rails with motion stabilized cameras). The quads Honda brought out were kept covered. No camera's allowed. But the covers were flipped up at one point-in-time and it appeared that ONE of the quads was a 400ex. It appeared to have had some changes in it's plastic and in it's stance....aka suspension. The other quads were never exposed. There were 2 or 3.

lol i'm gonna it on the Honda website refreshing the page all day to see or i'll stay up on the 5th and wait for it. aw man nvm I have school i can check it before i go. I wanna see it so bad

here's what I heard from a source about it. 08 400ex will have a new front sus., plastic, and maybe EFI. The source also said the motor won't be changed thats why the EFI change or not. As for the XR-650r big bore will be out also. This source told me that won't eliminate the 400ex because it's the best selling sport quad on the market. My source is pretty accurate also.

All I can say is..I'm keen to see if it's unchanged or has a make over?! I'm hoping for the make over!

efi, bigger oil cooler and new suspension would top off the already great 400ex. idk about liquid cooling because that makes more matinance

yeah I think honda should have kept all the models the same design with th lights and all except the 450r which the hood changed and the 300ex because that light on the bars had to go. But I dont care for the 2005 plastics, all hondas are now based on the 450r, they need something differnt to them.

i dunno why people mind it besides the 400ex is no longer based on the 450r the 300ex is but the 400ex now has its own style seeing as the 450r changed its headlight/hood region
