Me and my friends just got back from Little Sahara this weekend, it was kind of a miserable wekend to go but it still kicked *****, I am sure I had to have run in to somebody from here out there, but with out a definate way to identify you guys from a distance there is no way to tell.

I think we all should come up with a flag design that would Identify us as exriders, it would have to be something tat could be easily seen. I saw some groups out there that all had lighted flags, or all had the same color flags, or with multiple flags. I am not the creative type so I dont think I could design one, but I am sure someone out there is.

what do you guys think, I think it is time we got more organized!

the lighted flags is for riding at night. you have a great idea about the design. Maybe a sticker to put on the quad.

I agree... we need a good way to identify one another.... the sticker idea is good but how often will you recognize a exriders.com sticker on a 400ex flying past you? I think the best idea yet is to put a odd ball color flag on the whip. Maybe an all black or some florecent color..... yellow.

Anyone making any flags? Any other ideas?

Good idea. I was trying to hook up with a EXRIDER this weekend and couldn't find him.

yes but at little sahara in Oklahoma you have to have a orange or red flag. at least on top. you would have to put it below the other one. which can be done cause i have a rebel flag on mine.

Check out www.sandflags.com.they are a little spendy, but they have cool stuff, plus they can cunstom make. Im getting one in the spring to match my checkers..:D

hey quadjunkies,
It looks like they could make the flags, but i wonder if they would give us a volume discount for ordering a bunch from them, I think if we kept the design plain and simple they would not be too exspensive. now I guess first we have to see ow many would be interested in this, pick a color, and what it needs to say.

How many people would be interested??????

Good Idea about on the flags. Since some places MANDATE an orange/red flag, we should just have the orange/red flag with the normal EXRIDERS.COM logo thats on the stickers. That is pretty simple...id buy one!

OK then lets get some more support behind this and find out how many people would want to do it, and if there is enough I will call the flag company and find out pricing. run this by everyone you know on here who rides dunes so we can possibly get some sort of discount deal. any extra input about color or design would be great. I think the exriders logo is the way to go, and it does not have to be orange/red if you put it below the current flag, so color does not matter, and who knows having two flags might even make it easier to recognize. TELL EVERYONE!!!!!!!

lets give it a couple days, talk to everyone get a good idea of how many we are talking about it will be easier to talk to the flag company with numbers of how many, color, and what we want it to say in hand.

BansheeHQ came up with some great ideas for flags! Not sure if they ever printed them!? :confused: Umm...I think this site needs more dune riders because I know that nearly 200,000 poeple travel to ride at Glamis durint T-day every year!!!

why are you getting rid of your banshee?
they are at home in the sand!

I love the sand and trails, 400ex for trails, and hopefully someday a banshee for the sand. but for now the 400 hangs just fine!

keep the shee' or some day you will regret it.

:devil :devil Because mine is all stock! I want a hooked up one! Since I live in NJ, and my Banshee is in AZ...I can probably make some money off of this banshee and buy another one and just keep that one forever or until I feel like getting another one!;)

If your interested in the flags pm me with the number of flags you would like and as soon as the webmaster approves I will call in to find out how much they are going to cost!

I want to get a good idea of how many before I call them, so we can maybe get a group or volume discount.

You guys might try contacting sandflags.com. We tried over at the BHQ to get some flags made and sandflags.com wouldn't even answer their phone.

Good luck with the flags guys, it's a great idea.

My wife makes our flags, but I would fly an "exriders"
under it.
