ram air/open filter

anyone ever run a ram air setup? seems simple to make some round piping up to the front bumper somewhere and have it pull all the air into the air box

or, anyone ever run just a open filter.. i was thinking a big round k&n filter mounted right on the back of the carb???

wouldnt ram air throw off your jetting? it just seems like once you got moving fast enough for it to actually force air into the airbox you would be running lean?

lol oops. the 400ex above with the "ram air" was in DW. i thought it was yours lol. but u have a 426 and i just read and its a 440 :p my bad
