05 HRC vs 06,07,08 HRC kit

which 450r would be faster when the only mod is a HRC for the 04/05 and for the 06/07/08. i am in love with the 05 HRC 450r my dad owns and its xtremely fast. i have never ridden a HRC 06. only thing i can compare the 05 vs 06 to is the fact that the 05 is faster in stock form. because i have ridden a stock 07 450r and the stock 05 beat it.

haha i know he's been dying to get his quad down there. lol right now his 450r is sitting in the garage with no radiator lol we were racing on the track and a rock most of flown up and nailed his radiator lol it was bad anti freeze was spilling out all over the place. so right now he needs to order and new one.

I don't know about the entire stock vs. stock thing, but uncorked the 06+ bikes kill them. How do you know that your 05 was faster? Could it have been rider error?

HRC for HRC the newer bikes dominate. It only makes sense the engine components being used, really...and it shows. You have to imagine...the 06+ bikes are using better airboxes and filters, exhaust systems, carbs, have more and quicker revs.....and the list goes on.

because we dragged them both were stock and stock and nothing to do with rider error....even when we switched riders the 05 still pulled it. i mean it was close but still a noticable difference. i am not saying this because of my dad owning a 05 because IMO the new 450's look better. i was just surprised when the 05 beat the 07. the guy with the 07 is talking about getting a HRC kit and i will definately be looking forward to a HRC vs HRC race.
