About the 2008 KTM's

Anybody got a guessing price on the new KTM250f's?

Until they put linkage on their swingarms I won't buy one. Their top notch but they need to put linkage. Its going to be around 7-8 grand my guess.

thats what i thought.. 7-8grand, they cant be that much more.. and YES they do need linkage, but i guess the hanvnt had any probs with it so..

O god here we go, ktm sucks because it doesnt have a rear linkage. Although there bikes still sell for over 8 grand. Ktm's have by far the best bike out there 250f/450f, The only reason i would'nt buy one is because they are hard t oget parts for. Iwas talking to mike alessi last week sometime and he said from the rmz450 that he will be racing sx on and the ktm 450sx that hes raced the past couple years almost feel identical.

Btw, you would probably pay around 6800 - 7500 otd for a 250f depending on where your from, I also highly recomend you to sign up on thumpertalk.com and checkout there forums. There's only a handfull of us who pop in here and there on the quad forums who know what we're talking about when it comes to dirtbikes.:ermm:

Its no harder to get parts for my KTM 250sxf than it would be for anyother bike.. u just gotta know where to look (ktmhutt.com) get everything in like 2-3 days

i LOVE the ktm 250f, and this is first hand experience...it handles AWSOME, the suspension, yes including the linkless rear is amazing, the brakes work wonderfull, and its fast and comfortable...i work at a dealership and after doing a top end i was allowed to go test it out at a local track for a few hours and it was the most fun i've had on a dirtbike.
