98 trx90 dies

bought a 98 trx90 for $800.00 bucks. sometimes when riding it, it will just die. cant really give a time when it does it. like going over bumps or going up a hill. and it usually will take 5 or 6 pulls to get it started. when cold it will start on the 1st or 2nd pull. this has been a great atv for my daughter. has anyone else had this problem? what did you do to fix it? i also need a left side rear fender well that mounts to the footpeg. cant seem to find one thank you.

chances are you have a loose/cracked wire going to the coil it is very common on the trx90

i started it and used a stick to poke the wires so i wouldnt get shocked. it didnt die . i'll check the float level next, maybe its getting starved for fuel or the float is getting stuck. if its getting stuck it wont allow fuel to get in right?
