Tree or telephone poll?

I have that same truck but mines 2wd and white.

came around a corner and got on it a little too hard. rear end kicked out on me, and by the time i got it to stop sliding, i was off the right side of the road in the grass....ended up going trough a stream and into a tree. then ended up with the truck almost on its side in the stream.

bent the right frame rail pretty good. broke the windshield with my head.


i already have an 8' chassis that i am starting to build. im using my cab and drivetrain, with the exception of a dana 44 up front and a dana 60 with a spool in the back. have a nice straight box i have to go pick up. all i need is a set of fenders and a grille. should be an intesting build:devil:

im parting out some of the truck. i've got 3 sets of wheels for it...the ones on it, another set of AR wheels (seen in first pic) with 33 12.5's on them and a set of chome wagon wheels.

the bed and fiberglass bed cover are still in perfect condition. no rust or dents.


think that that is going to be about it. i already started to cannibalize my truck so i can start building the other truck. suspension is coming off of it tonight, and the cab and the rest of the drivetrain tomorrow



oh ya... the axles in it now are also going to be for sale...half ton with 3.55 gears.

ya tell me about it man. that truck was hooked up. new motor and tranny. i had modified the lift...which started out as a 3/4 ton lift. started with a 4" and ended up with about 7 in the back and 5 1/2-6 up front. i could load the bed to the sky with firewood and she wouldnt squat. body was perfect on it. not a spot of rust or dents anywhere. all new steering and suspension parts up front.

bout makes me sick to have to tear it all apart now.

i just found a 92 long bed with a 5 speed in it. body is junk, so i think im goiing to buy it, use my cab and doors, and find a good box and fenders for it. from there its going to be a frame up build. my lift is going on it, along with the dana 60 and 44. i'll probably run my motor for now, and finally hook up my headers. i'll get pictures of what im going to be working with tomorrow
