heres the problem....i did have an '86 swinger...shortened one inch. I bought another '86 stock length swingarm. My problem is that the bolt farthest to the back will not fit into the brake bracket. The edge of the hole is overlapping w/the swingarm. Also the parking brake block off is hitting the swingarm. So..i dont know if i have an '88-'89 brake bracket or what, thanks guys

the rear brake bracket is the same 86-89. Maybe the bracket was modified along with the swingarm??

don't worry about that too much, on my 250r's I have the same thing, I guess it matters how you turned the carrier when you intstalled it. It doesn't have a stop in it, like the stock carrier, so you can turn it w/o it hitting.
