and the stage one is better for a stock motor or slightly modded motor

The Hotcam stage 2 will deff work with a stock piston. It is basically a drop in cam. no new rockers or springs. although springs might be a good idea for later down the road.

Its all about how fast u wanna go. if i want fast go stage 2 if u want a lot of power down low go stage 1

All drop in cams are just that, they are designed to work with the stock rpm limits of that machine. Since you have a higher rev limit than the stock motor, why be careless and damage the engine. One missed shift or an inadvertant downshift at the wrong time would be all it would take.

to get the real benefit of ANY cam a increase in compression helps, along with a larger bore. i would at least go with a higher comp piston. i have a stage 2 and 416 je piston and love it
