I need to know! ?

I'm doing a coolant change on my 04 TRX450r and i don't know which hose to disconnect to drian whats already in there. I'm wondering if anybody can tell me which hose it is?

the three bolts that hold the impeller cover on there are 3 8mm bolts the bottom 1 has a lil copper crush washer take the bolt out then pop ur radiator cap off and it will all drain out that hole.

to the right of the clutch cover at the front of the motor ull see it

Take off the radiator cap, and undo this bolt that is circled.

btw now that your question is answered, what is that hole in the middle of the cylender, theres the same one on my crf but I dont know what it is.

its a spark plug drain hole incase u get water in there it drains out that lil hole instead of building up they say that after everytime u wash it to spray some contact cleaner in there.

tip the quad over on th side some to get it all out and just to be safe flush some "distilled water" through it just to get all the old coolant out, u can also filled it up with "distilled water" and start the quad and let it run then drain it again then refill it


i did that when i changed over to engine ice.... thats some good stuff
