I have dealt with Jack for years, good guy and his stuff works well, you will see an increase with that kit, but I would also suggest porting the head, putting a cam in it with heavy valve springs while you have the head off that will really make the 90 rip and your not talking about a whole lot more $$$$, Jack will be able to hook you up with what you need he knows those motors inside and out

thanks guys i'll check it out. ive never tore into an engine like this i think i should be able to handle it, if its just basically removing and older part and putting in a new one.

made a mistake. its the piston and cylinder for that price not the head. i checked them out and they seem to have a few nice parts. the piston, cylinder , and head with a cam wouldnt be over $400.00 bucks. that seems reasonable. heck i paid 270 for the exhaust from hetricks. i think with all these things my son would have a decent 90 to ride. any thoughts???

I would take the money you are going to spend on a new head and port the stock one, don't forget to have them port the intake to match at the same time. I don't know what carb you have but the stock one may not be able to supply enough fuel after the mods??????

im just fishin for ideas. maybe buy a head that has been ported with a new cam or send mine off and have it done. naturally the cheaper the better.
