shouldnt need any. the top gasket is a steel gasket... just make sure not to bend it or anything and you can reapply the cover back on after you are done.

Yea, you shouldn't have to replace the valve cover gasket but I ended up replacing it the first time due to a small leak.

make sure you torque those bolts on the valve cover back on. the big center bolt is 15 ft lbs and the rest of the smaller ones are 7 ft lbs. How would i know? Definately stripped one out.

you will love the stage 1 cam nice low end, will pull hard, now put a 10:1 piston in it and you'll rip

i almost did the same. i had one feel really wierd, when i took it back out it had threads that started to flatten out.

you have to realize these bolts just hold the cover on to the top.... they dont hold the whole bike together. thus why only 7 lbs. you can overtighten these with a mere 1/4 drive short wratchet. always tighten them a few turns at a time in a cross pattern, and one they all feel tight, they dont need much anything at all after that.
