in my experience procom makes a great cdi, and i have never heard anything bad about them

it will help out a ton, as you know the stock 300ex' rev-limit is pretty restrictive..

no crap man that real low revlimiter made me kill myself on a jump the other day hit it 3rd pinned and went 2 hold my throtle in the air revlimter all the way and nose dive i went lol i c u have the custom 450r plastic i bought it 2 2 bad they dont make ne graphics just dont try buying ne 450r graphics kit trust me lol i wasted 100 but thinks man

yea i hear ya the stock rev-limit will kill you,,

thats why im glad mine is removed,

yea i love my plastics,, its ok i dont really like graphics anyway i just cover it with some stickers so it doesnt look so plain..

but yea you will love the after market cdi ;)
