I went riding the other day and jumped a step down. When I landed my 4 wheeler revved to the moon and I was in gear and immediately knew what had happened. I looked down and saw my chain wrapped around the front sprocket and oil shooting out of my case. I checked where the oil was coming from and saw there was only a hole in a bolt where a sensor or something had been connected to the head of the bolt. I had no case saver on so the only thing that saved my case is the one wire going into a bolt. I am guessing it is a oil temp. sensor or something like that. Just thought I would share lucky day with everyone. Oh, and I am definatly buying a case saver!

Sounds like you should buy a manual also, then you'd know how to adjust your chain properly. Sounds like it was a little tight to me............
