When Zachary jumps it seems that his front end is hitting first quite a few times. Now I know he is new so it could be him lifting off the throttle at the jump. But I was just thinking, could it be a little top heavy?

Since I have never raced I really can't tell him what's the proper positioning to jump in case it is the front end.

Just thought I would throw this out, it kinda makes me nervous.

I can tell you this much for whatever it is worth. We have 2 Kaseas and a drx2 and Austin says the front feels lighter on the drx2.
If he is lifting on the jump that could definately do it though. There is not much worse feeling than seeing that front end dive down :scary:

Ok, I kinda thought it was him lifting.
So now I should tell him to reach his speed for the jump and hold it through the jump and when he is in the air he can lift.

That should keep him at a more even plane. I hope.

Thanks

You can put an aluminum bumper on the front to reduce some weight..

just from what I have seen

a kid on a single a-arm jumps good, switches to the DRX2 and he lands on the front tires until he gets used to the weight difference

If it is a dual A-arm, it is for sure front end heavy. He will have to learn to adapt to it though, not much you can do except for the front bumper and headlight. :)

And now they have added a radiator up there on the LC models.

The rider will get the hang of it though, they don't like that "nose dive" feeling either and will quickly adapt.

I sure hope he adapts. It scares me.

Just keep him jumping .we started on a small jump an just keep doing it until he got use to hiting the throtle at the right time to bring up the front end . And you will feel better. The 70 is rippin we broke the exhaut pipe at the head pipe and put on a trinity pipe and the low end and mid range is awesome. Put on new Green plastic, i have to post some new pics
