Lost key does anyone know cost of new keys at dealer? Can you take igintion swithch to a locksmith to get new keys?

A key can be made for your ignition but, you must have proof of ownership. Did you write down the key number before you lost it? A key can be cut based on the number. If nut, remove the ignition, and take it with the proof of ownership and you can get a key cut at a honda dealer. I'm a little leary of thieves when I read posts like this. I hope you have the title.

It was 10.00 at a honda dealer. All they wanted was the switch out of the 4 wheeler. But it may be different where u live.
