1 week ago i put a new 416 kit in and i just recently put a hot cam stage two and i put the motor back together i have spent to much money and am to far now to screw up can anyone tell me if i need to readjust the valves for the new cam and piston, or do anything else before i put the motor back in the bike. Please help!

valves must be adjusted for that cam. i believe there should be a card with the specs if you bought it new, if not i know someone on her will know.....its like .011 in intake + .013 on exhaust i think

also a hd cam chain and a fresh clutch would be helpful :blah:

yes, i would defiantly make sure your valve clearances are within spec,

i belive the vavle clearances are same as stock with that particular cam... (not 100% sure on that)


and yes new clutches and a hd cam chain would definatly be some added insureance...
