well i think i might sell it. im looking for a production quad so i am willing to trade for a production 450 quad so lets see wat you got. make offers on it, i have a lot of time and money stuck into it and dont need to get rid of it so please no low balling.

it started out as a 01 400ex. iv moded the frame to fit the ktm motor and a 250r radiator.

i had the quad out last night and love the thing, the suspension felf great and ran good! just want to switch to a production 450

hey whats up, this is tyler. i like what you've done with the quad. i'd love to trade you my yfz straight up. my friend already posted pics of it above ^^ haha. the only thing im waiting on is a battery box for it , other wise it's ready to ride. i did a full rebuild on in this winter, powdercoated everything, and got brand new cases for both sides. as well as new rings, seals, and gaskets for the whole engine, along with a JE stock compression piston. so everything motorwise is basically brand new. the exhaust is a sparks,and the silencer is a little rough from it being shortened, but it doesnt effect perfomance, and has awesome low end power. if you could post or send some more pics of your bike to my friend that'd be awesome. thanks

hey did you have to get like any kit to fit that motor or was it just a full out great idea customization project??? Oh and did you have* to change the subframe or was that just to make it show more?? I'm not interested in buying but if you have the time i would love to know how you did that. i'm currently building a blaster and i want to start this asap. thanks

How much?? I'm wanting to build an open class flat tracker Are most of the suspension parts still 400ex as in linkage and stuff just kinda wondered if you could still lower it

no there was no kit it was just a great idea customization project lol. the sub frame was bent and sence i wanted to do the flip top i just redid the left side and made the flip top. i was unable to use the rear motor mount with the swing arm so i had to move the motor ahead and make another mount. the ktm sits farther over to the left of the frame so i also had to cut the top left frame rale and make a bend in it to clear the top of the motor. i had lots of help from a buddy of mine who welds for a living to help keep everything stronger.

i saw one go on ebay for 8 something. id like to try to get around 6500 obo for it, i put well over that into it and it beats yfz, ltrs,and r's
