My father and I want to do an engineering project and i want it to involve quads, and it will be for college. If make a quad that runs on an alternative fuel that is better for the atmosphere it would look alot better for me in college. Do any of you know any alternative, economy efficient fuels we could use? and how to make them run the engine?

Corn fuel?

Ethanol i beleive its called...if you could hunt down one of the old polaris 425 magnum deisels then you could run it off of french fry grease and such (biodeisel)

in theory u can take a quad or snowmobile or dirtbike and run them on ethonal (e85) no modification required if they use a carb not the injected models but i think the the reason noone does is because it is hard on the fuel lines and fitting and what not it eats them away easier... im not 100% on this but me and my old man were talking bout it one day
