I currently own a 02 400ex i bought it for 4000 without a scratch on it and it is still in showroom condition, i rode a banshee today an i love it but im not 2 keen on relibility of the banshee. I also like my chasis better, but god I love that fricken banshee power. should i sell my stock 400 for a shee or keep my 400ex what would u do?

what type of riding do you do? mx, xc or any type of racing or what? Hill climbing, drag racing?

Have the best of both worlds.....get a banshee without selling the 400ex! j/k

I would get the atv that suites my needs and the places that you ride.

banshees are super fast but they are more mantinace than a 4 stroke and you have to mix gas and when you rebuild there is two of every thing but if you got the money go for it.

1. Mixing gas might be a problem because if you mix it rich or lean, youll be screwed. And, if you run out, you cant just pull up to a gas station and fill it up!
2. When you buy pipes, jets, pistons...etc, you gotta buy all that times 2, which means it costs more!
3. Maintanence is just about the same as a fourstroke...just change the oil and mix the gas right, and youll be fine...

sell that 400 and get a shee, man they are fast,kick arse in the trails,dunes,drags,and hillclimbs.and they are fast. Did i already say that.

Thats what i went through. i had to have the power and ride of a 2 stroke but loved the honda frame. 250r's are all i will ride!

yea but if you run your mixture a liitle lean you will just foul plugs once in every long time.

It also drinks that mix of gas about as fast as you can put it in. I can ride about 4 times as much on a tank of gas than on a banshee. So that's something else to consider if you go on rides all day and run close on gas with your 400, because on a banshee you would be out.
