help with white broes r4

ok guys, i am looking at a slip on white broes on a site forsale... and it says he used it on his 450 hybrid but he thinks its a 400ex slip on, and my question is do u guys think it will fit my 2001 400 ex?> pics bellow




and also.... i can find any packing for it... the guy said he thinks it might need packing....

its a white broes r4 older series... and idk if it will even fit my 400ex... can u guys please help me out

it looks like it should work,, but it looks like its beat to hell, so unless he's practically giving it to you i would look for something better,,

being beat or not it will still add sound and a little performance. well for the price you got it it should be great. I dont think th 450r pipe will fit the 400ex but dont quote me on it

haha well if i get it it will be for 25 shipped i aint goin no higher... and if i do i will like wire brush all the rust off that little peice... then take of the white brothers sign, and polish her up..... so when im done it will be pretty nice... and if it dont fit i will heat it up and bend it to fit haha.. for 25 bucks i could give a **** less if i have to give it to someone lol.... as long as i can try, so does anyone know were i can get packing,?

dont know where you can get packing, but i know you will love the sound. got one on mine and i love it. sounds soooooo gooooood

double post yay lol sorry.. but i checked rocky mountain and they dont make it for white broes.... how bad do u guys o and gurls think it would be if i put like fmf packing in it and just make it fit? cuz really it just goes around the edges... so id think it would be fine.. but what do u guys think?

mine has the packing out of it too and its still not too bad. its pretty loud but not too bad. everyone around here likes the way it sounds, but this is redneck country and we like it loud. lol. if ya want kinda medium loud, go with the packing. i dont see why you couldn't make that packing work. it might, but i'm not an expert.

thanks exgurl.... i might see if i can get cheap fmf packing or something... i dont really see why it wouldnt work as long as i can get it to fit around the edges... but still that mean i have a decent slip on for 40 tops when im done with packing

i used some insulation on my friends when i repacked his and it came out great! i beleive that was like 2 years ago and it still sounds the same as the day i put it in there!


i have a white bros that i sell also this thing id beat up pretty bad but still gives the performance gains!
