I just bought one off ebay bought it 8/14 came on 8/17 fast shipping but my question is who has one and how good does it work.

Let me try saying this a different way since I must not be making myself clear..................it works fine! If it loosened while riding, it wouldn't work fine, would it?;)

How do you install a RAD locknut? Take the stock skinny jamnut off and replace it with a RAD locknut? Or take both the big nut and the small jamnut off?

Yes, remove both nuts.

Yep, complete castration. Remove both nuts. :p
On the stock unit, one nut keeps the axle tight, the other nut is a jam nut, it keeps the first nut from loosening. With the RAD locknut, it locks itself, it doesn't need the second jam nut.

I use the jamnut with my RAD. Do I need to? Going off others' experience, I guess not--but I do anyway.

gpracer, i think this is the first question i have ever seen you ask..... :p
i have seen some use the jam nut, i guess it just works as added insurance...
