to the 1st quad wow I cant belive it only cost you $2100 for all of that. Full graphics with a seat cover, nerfbars, 450r front shocks, skid plate, tires and wheels, looks like new a arms, handlebars, billet throttle stuff and a bunch other things. Awesome build

in that pic it was, but i now run a gt thunder revalve w/ link and i think it has to be the best investment on the whole bike(besides hipers!)

wheelieboy- i actually got the hood from a member on here last winter for $50, and it was new:D :D

and i just dropped it off for some surgery to the powerplant so there is more $ that could have gone to a 450r:cool: :cool:

buy the link and revalve service for $350ish.... i had a fully adjustable works and it sucked...i will never again in my life pay for an aftermarket shock if i can have my stockers revalved.

wow that 2nd 400ex is probally one of the best looking without all the aftermarket stuff. The polished parts look amazing. I need to do that

total invested bought for $2500 4 years ago. put another approx. $3000 into it (all parts at dealer cost to, retail about $5k in parts) only pics i can find right now. got it pretty much stock 4 years ago. only mods were Hot rods crank, WB cam, 426 11:1 And the carbon hood. (pic shows nerf bars, shocks and a pipe, but they were not on there when i bought it)

dude .... You got to show me how you mounted that grab bar... And what is that grab bar for. My stock steel is about to snap.

if you look closely on the pictures you can see it is held on by 2 U bolts on each side.
its a very sturdy design.

kind of like the six pack rack. I didn't notice that at first. he still has the stock grab bar and that mounts to the rest of the subframe. Nice. I am going to have to see one of those up close before I buy one. Nice 400

that correct -

got it on ebay they are hard to find - the 400ex uni-frame back half of atv - does not come with a way to mount a grab bar that (bolts into the frame) so this is the way you get around it - the bar was designed with the u-bolts to mount to the frame and it is strong.

check ebay - under grab bars - good luck

did ya find ya a grab bar ? - ebay has some for cheap - just look for the ones that have the u-bolt that bolt on to the uni-frame and that will work - show us what you end up with:D
